My Scout Camp MOC was inspired by a MOC that I saw at BrickCon in 2013.
BrickCon is a large convention held every year in Seattle.
A Scout Leader from the Seattle area had built a small Scout camp MOC.

When I saw that MOC, I knew that I had to create a Scout camp MOC
of my own. For many years, my husband Lance and I had staffed
the Cub Scout activities at our local Scout Camp, and
as our boys grew up, we all staffed Boy Scout Summer Camp.
Our camp was Holcomb Valley Scout Ranch, and it is (still)
located near Big Bear City in the San Bernardino Mountains
in Southern California.
When I have more time, I will post more photos of how the camp started
and how it gradually grew from its original size of 5 feet deep by around 6 feet long
to its current size of 5 feet deep by 16-1/2 feet long.
But for now, I just want to get a few photos of each of my MOCS online
before I leave on my cross-country tour to display them.
So, check back in a couple of months to see updates. In the meantime,
check out the photos I have up so far by clicking on the brick below.
